MotherBirth provides placenta preparation services from Lafayette LA to Lake Charles. Placenta encapsulation is the process of preparing the mother's placenta by dehydrating, powdering and encapsulating it for the mother to ingest. The purpose of ingestion is to reintroduce hormones, protein, minerals such as iron and amino acids and other key nutrients to the mother’s body following labor and birth.
