Owner of Columbus Placenta Encapsulation, Rachel McCloskey is a local midwife and certified placenta arts specialist. She is the only encapsulator in the area to work in a professionally constructed, specialized workspace for the safest processing. Safety is our top priority.
Rachel began offering placenta encapsulation in 2009 and has prepared over 1000 placentas for families all over Central Ohio. Services included steamed, or raw-start encapsulation, natural art prints, tinctures, broth and flavoured capsules. A free cord keepsake and a digital photo are included for every client who chooses them with their capsules.
We pick up by meeting a family member, from all area hospitals as well as from home births. If you prefer your placenta be processed in your home, we offer premium in-home encapsulation service.
